A Message For The End Time

The True Christ Returns
In chapter 18 God had just told those in Heaven to rejoice over the downfall of Babylon the Great, and in this chapter we see them doing just that. Some may think that it is not good to be thankful and joyous over her destruction, but that is contrary to what God said in chapter 18. He said that she is responsible for the blood of all the apostles, prophets, and saints who have perished at the hands of men.
Her hierarchy is made up of the most evil men who have ever lived on God's green Earth. They are the ones who lay awake at night thinking up ways to make their fellow man serve them and their interests regardless of what it cost in terms of misery and even death. They show no genuine love for mankind which is in direct contradiction to God's wish that we love our neighbor as ourselves. They only seek to enslave and use the rest of humanity to their own interests.
They are the prime constituents in the makeup of Babylon the Great and there is no end to the badness that is in them, and consequently, in her. It is just that she perish from the face of the Earth for the sake of those living on the Earth. It doesn't really matter how she goes, it is only important that she does go.
You may wonder about right now why I am saying all this in this fashion. Right? Well, it is like this. She is the one who rules here on Earth over mankind and she basically determines what the world is like. Of course, she is a shill for Lucifer and his offspring and so the world that we live in is filled with their values, not those of our Father in Heaven. That is why the apostle John warned us not to love the world, neither the things in the world, because they were not of the Father.
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.The world that John is talking about here is not what God has created, it is not the natural world, it is not nature, or Mother Nature as we like to call it. He is not talking about the beautiful mountains, and seas, and plains. He is not talking about the wonderful fauna and flora that thrive about us. He is not talking about Spring, and Summer, and Autumn, or Winter with all their wonders. He is not talking about night and day, gorgeous sunsets and spectacular sunrises. He is talking about our world that we have created, our society and culture. But you know what? That is the very world that most of us love so much. A world fraught with error and the machinations of unrighteous men. That is the world that is to perish, the world that Babylon the Great has ruled over for so long. Thank God it is going to pass away and Christ's good and just government will rule in her place.1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Right about now some of you are probably thinking that these are just the ravings of an unsophisticated bible thumping sociopath, but if you think that then you are in error. I trust God, and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the things He prescribed for us is good. He created us and watched over us for long periods of time and gathered baseline data about our behavior. He then delineated how we should conduct ourselves and how we should behave as we interact with one another and the natural world in which we live. Did we do it? Maybe we tried, and maybe we still try, but we have always somehow fallen short. Why? Because we have let truly evil men creep in and take control of all things. They are essentially the prime ingredient in what makes up Babylon the Great. They are responsible for most of our problems, but over time we have come to accept their ways as the norm and we try to conform to their rules, forgetting God's ways. They are the ones who control the world that John is talking about. That world must pass away by necessity if we are to truly live and enjoy God's way.
That is what this chapter is about. The passing away of that world, and the ushering in of a new righteous world with the true Jesus Christ reigning on Earth de facto. Let's get into it now.
Rev. 19:1Omit And. Omit and honour. The last clause would better read: the salvation, the glory, and the power of our God:Andafter these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
At this point in time the people in Heaven are happy, whereas those on the Earth are in big trouble.
Rev. 19:2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.Confusion is finally gone. No more calling evil good, and good evil. No more homosexual priests being ordained, no more same sex marriages being performed, no more adultery and crossbreeding, no more cloning, no more gene splicing, no more pro-choice, no more pro-life, no more abortion of any kind, no more insider trading, no more scamming, and thank God, no more junk mail and spam.
Rev. 19:3 And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.Good-bye Babylon the Great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the Earth. What about her children, those harlots and abominations? Well, Jezebel was the Old Testament type for Babylon the Great and her children were all slain. So be it also with the offspring of Babylon the Great. For ever and ever in the last clause is a figure-of-speech meaning that her smoke rose up out of sight.
Rev. 19:4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.By saying amen they are in agreement with her destruction and they are glad that she is gone.
Rev. 19:5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants,Now is the time to rejoice for those who have understanding because a new era is about to be ushered in and it is time for God to reward His servants.andye that fear him, both small and great.
Rev. 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. The last clause should read: for the Lord our God the Omnipotent reigneth. There are many in Heaven who love our Father and they respond to the voice in verse 5. You may very well know some in this multitude.
Rev. 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.Honour should read the glory. Marriage should read marriage supper, or marriage feast. Wife is translated from the Greek word gune (Strong's No. 1135) which is translated woman elsewhere in Revelation. She is the woman pictured in chapter 12. This marriage, and marriage customs in Israel during late biblical times, are discussed briefly in chapter 3 under the Sardis church section. If you have forgotten, or missed chapter 3, go to it now and read it.
Rev. 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.Clean and white should be translated bright and pure. The last clause should read: for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. The word righteousness here is translated from the Greek dikaioma (Strong's No. 1345) and has it's roots in the verb dikaioo (Strong's No. 1344) which means to render or regard as innocent, to free, or to justify. In other words, what is inferred here is that the saints have been decreed as innocent, and are granted to wear bright and pure linen to declare that innocence.
Rev. 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.Substitute happy for blessed. These are invited wedding guests in general, not just the bride and her attendants, or the Bridegroom and His attendants. This marriage supper will be the greatest social event ever.
Rev. 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.John, overcome with emotion, makes a mistake here and the angel rightly rebukes him for it, we are not to worship angels. During the decade of the 90's interest in angels sharply increased, and as a result, merchants responded by producing vast amounts of senseless and worthless angel products. Where in the Bible are any angels that are said to look like beautiful females with large feathered wings? Or where does it describe one as looking like an overweight scantily clad or nude child with small feathered wings? This angel is direct and explicit with John. Don't worship angels, or any man, because it is tantamount to blasphemy. Worship God only.
The last clause of this verse deserves some commentary because it defines what testimony means in the scriptures, and it is part of the acid test for determining who is the true servant of God. What is this test? It is found in Isaiah 8:20.
Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. The law and testimony are inseparable, and are typically represented by the two great personalities, Moses and Elijah. But, don't make the mistake of thinking that the law refers to the Old Testament only, or that the testimony of Jesus is found only in the New Testament.
Why?
Read the last clause of verse 10 again. All prophecy concerning Jesus is in the Old Testament and this clause says that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy, so the Old Testament is filled with the testimony of Jesus. And as concerning the law, the New Testament gospels are filled with Jesus explaining the law as it should be applied in our lives today.
The Jewish leaders were conversant with the scriptures and the testimony concerning the coming of the Messiah, but they rejected Jesus as the One to whom that testimony applied and said that they followed Moses, or more rightly, the law of Moses. The problem was, it was actually their law to which they adhered, not that given to Moses by God.
Today many Christians fall into this same
error by clinging
to the testimony of Jesus while trying to ignore
much
of the law of Moses.
For example, let's choose something from the law
that
is very elementary and simple. A good example are the food
laws.
I am not saying that the food laws given in the Old Testament to Israel
through Moses are for all people and all races everywhere, but why do
we,
who are descendants of Israel, eat pork and shellfish when God
admonished
us against it? The instructions given to Moses specifically for
Israel
concerning foods, sanitation, and hygiene, were given for our physical
well being while in the flesh, yet we foolishly misapply New Testament
scriptures to try to show that they were done away. Dumb!
Actually, the laws that teach us how to live in harmony with our environment, and with each other, while enjoying good mental and physical health, have always been in force and effect. And, I am confident that the Creator gave that knowledge to all the different races as He created them and placed them in their respective areas upon the Earth. In other words, God gave them rules to live by from the very first day of their creation, from the beginning. Concerning the Hebrews it was not codified until Sinai, but prior to that time it was passed on orally from generation to generation. Jesus said He didn't come to do away with that law or to change it, but rather He expounded upon it and explained the way it should have been applied all along. On balance, you have to receive both the law and the testimony the way they were truly intended. Together!
A New Testament example is found in the story of Lazarus and the rich man in Luke 16. Look at how Abraham replied to the request of the dead rich man to send Lazarus back to testify to his family?
Luke 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.In the parable, Moses exemplifies the law, and the prophets represent the testimony. The intent of the statement made by Abraham in verse 31 above is still true today. Nothing has changed. The subject here is the rich man's request to resurrect Lazarus and send him back as a testimony, but you can apply the last clause to Jesus Christ. He was sent by our Father and He rose from the dead. Is the world persuaded to do right and return to the Father? You decide for yourself.Luke 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
The Return Of The True Christ
Rev. 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. Here is the True One on the white horse, a charging steed of war. The first time He came as Messiah and entered Jerusalem, he came in peace riding the white foal of an ass. He was rejected and murdered. Why did He ride a donkey that first time? In those days, if a king or ruler approached a town or village on an ass, or burro, he was signifying by that act that he had come in peace, not to make war. This second time He comes to conquer riding a charging steed!
Rev. 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. He has fire in His eyes, not a good sign for the people of the Earth who have ignored Him and mistreated His servants. They don't know His name because they don't know Him. What name is that?
Rev. 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.Why is His vesture dipped in blood? See verse 15 below, and then go back to chapter 14 and look at the last four verses.
They don't know His name because they don't really know the Word of God. Sad, but true. Mankind in general has never really understood God's word and His plan for mankind. Why? Because Babylon the Great, guided by her mentor Lucifer, has had her way for millennia and she has perverted and changed that word so that it is totally different from what God had intended. The Jews didn't know Christ when He came the first time because they were under her spell. Nothing has changed for us to this day with regards to that.
The western world has been deceived by a fake Jesus who has led them down the sawdust trail and they love to have it that way. They are totally ignorant as to the true nature and character of the Son of God because they have received another Jesus who pretends to be so gentle, sweet, and generous that he will even allow homosexuals to lead his churches. They have not known Him, or His name, and their conduct bears witness to this fact. If they had known Him they would not have been fooled by Antichrist. See the first chapter of the Gospel of John written by this same John that wrote Revelation. He expounds on The Word of God.
Rev. 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.Armies of saints and angels. They overcame the world because they knew the real Jesus. These horses are valiant steeds, war horses, prepared and trained for action. Are they real? Of course not, but they demonstrate the fact that Jesus and His army are indeed coming, not in peace, but as conquerors.
Rev. 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.Remember the vintage in chapter 14, how that something was terribly wrong? Horses were trampling the grapes instead of people. Well, now you know who they are. They are going to ride roughshod over the Earth, trampling the beast and the institutions of Antichrist and men into the ground. That is why His vesture is said to be dipped in blood in verse 13 above.
Rev. 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.More names. The true KING OF KINGS, and LORD OF LORDS appears and now the people will know the truth. This is the true Jesus, so don't be fooled by pictures of Jesus drawn by men. They often picture Him as a helpless babe in His mother's arms, or as a poor physical specimen hanging helplessly on a Roman cross.
Satan has done a number on us for thousands of years by pretending to be God. That's right! I said thousands of years. Working through Babylon the Great, he is responsible for luring men away into false religions over the millennia by making them seem so righteous and so wonderful, filled with traditions of men. Blasphemy!
Rev. 19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;This is not the marriage supper of the Lamb. This supper is for birds of prey, scavengers, and carrion eaters.
Rev. 19:18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. The flesh age is at an end when Jesus appears the second time.
Rev. 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. This is Armageddon. These men supporting the Antichrist can never win in a fight with God, or to stave off what they see coming on the Earth. These poor souls are apparently convinced by Antichrist that the real Jesus is their enemy and that they must save the Earth from destruction.
Rev. 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. This verse speaks of two different things and actually covers a thousand years. The first sentence describes Satan's capture when Christ appears, and the second sentence describes his destruction at the end of the Millennium. The lake of fire doesn't appear until the end of the Millennium.
Rev. 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. That not only means the rest of the opposing forces, but it also means everyone else who is still alive on the Earth. The flesh age is at an end and a new glorious age is beginning. We will see what happens during that time in the remaining chapters.
God bless with
understanding
of His word.
