Introduction Be
sure to start here and read this first.
Chapter 1 In the
beginning. How it all got started and what actually happened that
began this present world age.
Chapter 2 The special creation of Adam
and Eve. They were different from those created on the sixth day.
Chapter 3 The story of how
Adam and Eve erred, and were driven from Paradise.
Chapter 4
The result of what happened in the Garden of Eden. Cain's real
father is revealed. The story of Cain and Abel.
Chapter
5
The generations of Adam from Seth to Noah.
Chapter 6 The nephilim.
"And there were giants in the land in those days." This chapter
describes the events leading up to the flood, the reason for it, who it
affected, and why.
Chapter 7 The deluge. It
rained for forty days and forty nights but that amount of water would
have never done the job. See what really happened.
Chapter 8 The flooding finally
ends, and those on the ark are able to disembark.
Chapter 9 Events
immediately following the flood.
Chapter 10 The generations of
Noah. Many important people are mentioned including Nimrod, as
well as Canaan, and Peleg during whose time the Earth was divided.
Chapter 11 The Tower of
Babel, more talk of Nimrod, and the generations of Shem.
Chapter 12
The story of
Abraham begins. Abraham leaves Mesopotamia for Canaan, and the
flight into Egypt to escape famine where Pharaoh takes Sarai from
Abraham.
Chapter 13 The first exodus of Hebrews from Egypt.
Chapter 14 Abraham has to
rescue Lot, and we meet the mysterious Melchizedek.
Chapter 15 God's promises to
Abraham concerning his descendants and the land they were to possess.
Chapter 16 Abraham gets a
son. Hagar conceives and gives birth to Ishmael.
Chapter 17 The practice of
circumcision is begun. Abraham is promised another son.
Chapter 18 Disaster
approaches,
again! Prelude to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Chapter 19 Lot's terrifying
escape
from Sodom, the destruction, and his wife's death.
Chapter 20 Sarah is Abraham's
sister, again! God intervenes with Abimelech concerning Sarah.
Chapter 21 Isaac comes,
Ishmael goes. There is some soap opera intrigue in this chapter.
Chapter 22 Abraham is told
to
sacrifice his beloved son Isaac. This bizarre event forever
changed the life of Abraham and his family.
Chapter 23
The death and burial of Sarah. Some surprises here.
Chapter 24
Abraham procures a bride for Isaac, and her name is
Rebekah. Some interesting things in this chapter, and some
suspense.
